Nowadays, the new fad for getting your site noticed is the “ad†craze. Which works similar to the mailers, they go to your email box, however are usually smaller sites of between 50-1000 people and offer lots of free “perks†to get you to sign up to their sites.
Some offer free membership upgrades (often called JV upgrade), free banners, free site rotation and text ads. Many will draw you in with huge amounts of credits and some will even offer you free solo ads (emails).
So with literally as many on the market as their are manual traffic exchanges, how do you choose which ones to go for without wasting your time? I find the best ones are the ones that have referrals contest as they give you the best payouts for each referral. I’ve seen some be as high as 0.50 cents per referral on a free membership (usually called pro membership).
So what I have done is put together a little rotator of the ones that I have chosen and that I am doing well with. Some of the sites with all the perks they give you, can take several hours to set up. Anyway, enjoy this; once you open the email hit CTRL and R at the same time on your keyboard to bring up the next site and so on.
